The Cliffs Resort and Marisol at The Cliffs is currently looking to hire a motivated and hard working Food and Beverage Director. As the Director of Food and Beverage you would be responsible for overseeing the entire Food and Beverage operation. This includes our Restaurant, Lounge, Banquets, and Kitchen. We are looking for a team player who is able to establish and maintain quality products and service levels while maximizing profits.

Responsibilities (not limited to):

  • Manage P&L, budget projections, revenue/labor cost comparisons
  • Selecting, training, developing, and managing your F&B Management Team
  • Able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff in all departments of the Hotel and Restaurant
  • Provide the vision, leadership and strategy to inspire your employees to deliver exceptional service and drive financial success
  • Maintain a safe environment for employees and guests.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum of 4 years experience in food and beverage management
  • Hospitality experience
  • Ability to interpret financial and operational data into operational plan
  • Ability to communicate effectively with the public and other employees
  • Ability to lead and direct a team
  • Time management skills
  • Positive attitude
  • Passion for quality
  • Strong work ethic, dedicated team player, motivator

Licenses and Special Requirements:

  • Food safety certification (if not currently certified, we will help you get certified).
  • Alcoholic beverage certification (if not currently certified, we will help you get certified).
