Position: Banquet Server |

Reports to: Banquet Manager |
Position Summary:
The Banquet server is to ensure guest satisfaction of all who attend banquet functions at the Cliffs Hotel and Spa. Going above and beyond, as needed, to create a unique experience for our guests.
Essential Functions of the job:
- To set-up and break-down all functions as directed on BEOs and by management
- Serve guests, ensuring food quality by maintaining communications with the chef
- To demonstrate an attitude of friendly hospitality in every aspect of service
- Communicates pleasantly and courteously with guests, management and co-workers
- Comply fully and consistently with all the hotel conditions of employment and standards of uniform, grooming
Qualifications
- Previous food and beverage experience
- Customer service experience
- Energetic/Motivated/Reliable/Adaptable
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand/move continuously for the duration of the shift (eight hours).
- Regular heavy lifting required (40 pounds or more). Ability to carry service trays.
- Ability to work in stressful situations.
Education, Experience, Skills:
- High school diploma
- Current Food Handler's Certification
- Excellent command of English language.
- Ability to work with people effectively.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work in mentally demanding situations.
Compensation:
- Wage varies from $15/hour to $50/hour (includes tip pool)
